My Word – My Dress

The Artist’s Book Exhibition, organised by “Forum Kunstlerbuch” Switzerland, where Lithuania was a guest of the Exhibition. Thanks for our Friends from Switzerland.

The artist’s book exhibition was opened in a beautiful old town house-palace, the Gallery “Maison 44” a wonderfully located building in the old town of Basel, near St. Paul’s church and the embassy of Germany. It was a rainy morning, but the atmosphere created by gallery owner Mrs. Ute Stoecklin in “Maison 44” was warm and very friendly. The opening featured a Dadaist performance. The artist’s book exhibition „My Word – my Dress” was displayed on three floors in these beautiful surroundings.

This virtual exhibition is created from my photographs, made during the opening of the exhibition “My Word – My Dress”. It is not showing all artist’s books exhibited in the gallery, nor all artists. These are only my personal impressions, which I am sharing here with you.
