The purpose of the lectures:
Introduce students to the “artist’s book” as an interdisciplinary art. To see how important is an “artist’s book” for the modern book design, conceptual art and the art installations. Gain an understanding of the “artist’s book” and its relationship to the world of art history. To examine the principles of creation, methods and structures of an “artist’s book”. Analyze the main features of the “artist’s book” and different trends in other countries. To create their own “artist’s book” and “artist’s book-object”.
